TA Trikalinos is the Associate Professor in Health Services, Policy & Practice and founding director of the Center for Evidence-based Medicine at Brown University’s School of Public Health. Most of his research revolves around developing methods and tools for optimizing the processes of evidence synthesis to inform decision making, and conducting technology assessments in health and healthcare.
He has published over 150 methods and applied papers in the public health, medical, statistical, and computer science literature, not counting over 40 peer reviewed government-commissioned reports and technology assessments.
TA Trikalinos received an MD (2002) and PhD in molecular epidemiology (2006) from the University of Ioannina in Greece.
He holds or has held positions as adjunct associate professor in Medicine and in Clinical and Translational Science and visiting associate professor in Computer Science at Tufts University.
